She DRIVES Act
Bipartisan, fair, and life-saving legislation before the U.S. Senate
What is it?
The She DRIVES Act is a bipartisan bill before the U.S. Senate. Introduced originally in the 118th Congress by Senators Deb Fischer (R-NE), Patty Murray (D-WA), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), the legislation would help end the gender disparities in automotive safety testing.

Specifically, the bill requires the National Highway Traffic Safety Organization (NHTSA) adopt the most advanced female crash test dummy into the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), and to test it equally in the driver's seat.
